At least 2 people killed as storms push through South

Severe storms swept across the southern U.S. over the weekend, causing widespread damage and power outages for nearly 150,000 residents from Texas to South Carolina. The storms brought heavy rain, strong winds, hail, and tornadoes, including an EF‑1 tornado in Arkansas. Additional severe weather was expected on Sunday and Monday, with damaging winds, large hail, and possible tornadoes forecast for parts of Oklahoma and Texas.
