The coffin with the body of former Uruguayan president Jose "Pepe" Mujica leaves the presidency's headquarters in the capital, bound for the Legislative Palace to lie in state. The current president, Yamandu Orsi, accompanies the funeral procession. The 89-year-old -- who spent a dozen years behind bars for revolutionary activity -- lost his battle against cancer after announcing in January that the disease had spread and he would stop treatment.
