The Battle Of The Year has evolved from a local youth culture centre in 1990 with 500 fans to a global event drawing over 12,000 spectators and crews worldwide. Over the years, BOTY has expanded its vision to nurture breakdance spirit and provide an international platform for B‑Boys and B‑Girls to showcase creativity. The 2014 edition was a milestone, and the organizers aim to keep growing, evolving, and solidifying BOTY as the pinnacle of the breaking scene, celebrating a quarter‑century of history and looking forward to the next 25 years.
