Manhattan bomb plot foiled as feds charge NY man with building, stashing IEDs across city

Michael Gann, 55, of Inwood, New York, faces federal charges for allegedly building and hiding homemade bombs across Manhattan, including on subway tracks and residential rooftops. Prosecutors say Gann constructed at least seven improvised explosive devices (IEDs) using chemicals bought online and threw one onto the Williamsburg Bridge subway tracks.
