In today's walking tour we explore Molveno, a true gem in Trentino, northern Italy, right at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites. This town is best known for its lake, Lake Molveno, a natural lake, formed by a massive landslide a long time ago. Just a short drive from Andalo, Molveno is often a favorite summer destination for families. Its lake has been awarded the "5 Vele" by Legambiente for years recognizing it as one of the cleanest and most beautiful in Italy. We'll begin our walk in the old town and head down to the lake. We'll see what the beach area is like, and then take a cable car up to the Pradel Plateau for the best panoramic views in the town.
