Noem transported by ambulance to DC-area hospital after ‘allergic reaction’

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was hospitalized Tuesday after experiencing an allergic reaction. DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated that Noem was “alert” and is currently recovering. She was transported to a DC-area hospital as a precaution, The Hill has reported. According to CNN, Noem was conscious, had spoken to her doctor and security detail, and is expected to recover.
