The DVD version of Qui Veut Gagner Des Millions 1er, released in 2003, was the first French DVD millionaire game and the first of four separate DVD games for the millionaire format in France. The gameplay is an updated version of the 2002 original DVD game, with the same cover but using the colors of the second British DVD. The Universal Studios prize draw was no longer valid after May 31, 2004, before the second edition release, though it is mentioned in the game's user manual.
