Ridhima (Manjula Swaroop) is an executive from a Delhi-based pharmaceutical company who travels to a remote village in Andhra Pradesh to negotiate a patent deal with a professor who has invented a new drug. The professor leaves a note indicating he will return later due to urgent work, and Ridhima is told to wait. Meanwhile, Madhav Rao, a junior lawyer overseeing the patent sale, arrives at the same location. The ensuing events over the next few hours between Ridhima and Madhav form the core of the story.
