Taiwanese Synth Pop, Boogie & Disco with Hassan Raphael

Hassan Raphael, a DJ from London based in Brussels and part of the Bumpy Ride record label, discovered Taiwanese funk and disco records while living in Taipei in 2015, which inspired a deeper exploration of Taiwanese music. On a recent return trip, he unearthed 80s and 90s records influenced by City Pop, Boogie, and Italo disco, forming the core of this mix.
