Thousands of Israelis march towards the US embassy in Tel Aviv to demand a ceasefire deal in Gaza that would secure the safe return of all hostages still held in the Palestinian territory, devastated by over 21 months of war. "I'm demonstrating against our government, against the war, to stop the war," says a demonstrator. Israel declared a "tactical pause" in fighting in parts of Gaza on Sunday, saying it would allow the UN and aid agencies to open secure land routes to tackle a deepening hunger crisis.
