The John Carpenter game for the Nintendo Wii in the UK is a version of the “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” quiz where players can win a million dollars without using any lifelines. It was released in 2007 as the first game on the Wii and the first Wii‑exclusive title in the UK, following the GBA release. Unlike the second edition that involved Route1Games and Slam!, this version uses a 15‑question format. The soundtrack plays continuously throughout the questions, stopping only when a wrong answer is given or the final answer is requested; oddly, the music cuts off entirely at the £500,000 question. Aside from the second edition, this was the only other Slam! title that involved the studio and Route1Games, and a planned World Tour version was never released. The game’s questions largely came from the Sky Gamestar app, and the description also references various playlists for the DS version and other John Carpenter titles.
