I bought a laptop with an Intel Core i9‑13980HX, and most of my critical tasks were running on efficiency cores instead of performance cores, which was frustrating. I found a solution that works most of the time, and I share it here. The video covers the following topics: at 00:00 introduction, at 01:59 about the task manager, at 02:50 launching Ansys Fluent as an administrator, at 05:12 the task is using the P‑cores, at 08:29 power settings, at 10:12 launching Ansys Fluent as a regular user, at 13:25 setting the affinity and priority manually, at 15:12 power settings again, at 16:10 should I use all the efficiency cores, at 16:59 powershell and WSL, at 19:25 launching Ansys Fluent from the power, at 20:27 comments about VMware and final remarks.
