Composer Akira Yamaoka Reflects on Returning to Silent Hill 2 23 Years Later

IGN, Konami Digital Entertainment, and Laced Records have delved into the fog to bring the haunting soundtrack for Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 to vinyl. The game’s composer, Akira Yamaoka joined us to reflect on the legacy of Silent Hill 2’s soundtrack and commemorate the release of the vinyl. The vinyl releases November 25th on two black heavyweight LPs with 27 tracks from the 2024 remake of this iconic survival horror game.
