'Didn't get to say goodbye': Mother says she was detained after her baby was killed in hit-and-run

The mother reported that after she drove her 2‑year‑old child to the hospital, authorities suspected her involvement in a hit‑and‑run that killed the child and placed her in handcuffs. She said she did not even get to say goodbye to her baby.
