Donna Summer "I Feel Love" (2023 Extended Revisit Mix) ***

The original multitracks for "I Feel Love" are presumed lost. When official remixes were done in 1995, the studio multitrack tape could not be found, so the vocals were re‑recorded. In this version, using today’s technology, the original lead and backing vocals are used. The rest of the backing track is a recreation of the original, not meant to be a 100% clone, but it also incorporates a few judicious short samples from the original. The intention was to preserve the same feel and vibe of the original rather than make it sound like a clone of 21st‑century EDM. A little inspiration was taken from the Patrick Cowley version.
