E.T.A. Hoffmann: Pješčuljak

E.T.A. Hoffmann’s "Pješčuljak" is a tale of a young man’s psyche, where fear inherited from childhood and imagination make him lose his footing. The adaptation by dramaturge Dina Vukelić and director Iva Hamer Srnec, with music by Linda Uran, brings Hoffmann’s psychological drama to a border between fantastic and musical drama. The sound design by Tomislav Šamec enhances the evocative atmosphere. The lead role is played by Lovro Juraga, portraying Nathaniel with all shades of fear and paranoia.
