Espresso Macchiato by Tommy Cash, created by composer Alejandro Vivas Puig and performed by the Metropolitan Orchestra of Madrid and the Talía Choir at the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid, conducted by Silvia Sanz Torre. On July 3rd, 2025, the National Auditorium hosted a truly original concert: Eurocanción Sinfónica — a program featuring great Eurovision hits from all times, reimagined in symphonic form by Alejandro Vivas for the Metropolitan Orchestra of Madrid and the Talía Choir, under the baton of Silvia Sanz Torre. After a very refined concert filled with demanding symphonic versions, the musicians decided to surprise the audience with a light‑hearted encore: a humorous symphonic take on Espresso Macchiato, which sparked smiles and applause throughout the hall.
