The campaign starts with Godzilla at 50 meters tall, and the player can grow the creature to an almost limitless size. Bosses scale to Godzilla's current height, though they can be larger on harder levels. To complete Destruction Mode and reach the true final boss, the player must exceed 100 meters by the last stage. After the credits, the final stage begins with Burning Godzilla, followed by the Legendary Godzilla, who must be defeated before the timer expires and Godzilla melts. Defeating Legendary Godzilla triggers the game's final cutscene.
