I Built a Custom Tesla Motor Controller (and it FINALLY worked!)

So I've had this ridiculous idea for way too long: take a fossil fuel car, remove its engine, and replace it with batteries and an electric motor. The plan involved opening the inverter board, installing a Tesla motor, and a lot of optimism.
