The director and producer, upset with his absence and financial losses, come to Belgrade. The story continues three years later, with Veljko learning his father has died, prompting his return to Belgrade. He discovers long‑hidden family truths and remains longer than expected. The episodes follow the emotional turmoil and crisis of the Radisavljević family, culminating in significant changes in Veljko and Jadranka's lives after their divorce, as they still share the challenges of raising their daughter Vida.
