Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) is a cowardly shut‑in who is forced to team up with seasoned zombie slayer Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) to survive the apocalypse. Together they search for the last Twinkie on Earth, risking their lives in a grocery store, and meet Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), two young girls who use unorthodox methods to survive. As they fight the undead, the group begins to wonder if it might be better to take their chances alone.
