Qui Veut Gagner Des Millions 1er Edition DVD, released in 2003, was the first French Millionaire DVD game and the first of four such releases in France. It includes a how‑to‑play video featuring Jean‑Pierre Foucault, similar to the UK version with Chris Tarrant. The gameplay is a polished version of the 2002 original DVD, using the same cover art but the same palette as the UK 2nd Edition DVD. The Universal Studios prize draw, which ended on 31 May 2004, is no longer in effect and is only mentioned in the manual.
