Crammed Discs and Essay Recordings announce the release of *Disko Partizani!*, Shantel’s first album in seven years. The EP features three new tracks and showcases Shantel’s evolution from pioneering Balkan clubbing to a new brand of pop music that blends energetic dancefloor beats with vibrant influences from Southeast Europe, Greece, Turkey, and beyond. The album highlights Shantel’s dual role as producer, musician, and DJ, and includes performances by a host of musicians from southeast Europe, with Shantel himself on lead vocals delivering an unexpected, elegant deadpan style. The project will be extensively toured with Shantel’s Bucovina Club Orkestar, a full eight‑piece band, and the album will be released worldwide through Crammed, except in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, and Japan.
