SpaceX canceled its Starship launch scheduled for Aug. 24 due to a “ground systems” issue, despite the super-heavy booster being fully fueled. The mission, the tenth Starship test since April 2023 and the fourth of 2025, aimed to test the upper stage’s orbital maneuvers and deploy eight Starlink test satellites, while the booster was set for a water landing. Unlike previous launches, SpaceX planned no booster recovery, focusing instead on advancing Starship’s performance for future crewed missions to space, the USA Today has reported.
