As of Version 10.0, Splatoon is preparing for its next era. The game has received its third generation of weapons, the Splatlands Collection, featuring 30 remixed variations that work with new Sub and Special Weapons. A new stage, the oldest in the series, Urchin Underpass, has returned. The update also improves performance on the Nintendo Switch 2, raising hub framerates from 30 FPS to 60 FPS. Additionally, a new spinoff, Splatoon Raiders, will let Deep Cut lead the team instead of the usual Squid Sisters or Off‑the‑Hook characters. The next Splatfest, themed around vehicle transportation, is scheduled for next week.
