A large crowd of supporters of Rafal Trzaskowski, the pro-EU candidate for the Polish presidency, gather in the capital Warsaw ahead of what promises to be a very close second round on June 1. The June 1 runoff pitches Warsaw mayor Trzaskowski, who is backed by the centrist government and won round one by a narrow margin, against nationalist historian Karol Nawrocki, who is supported by the main right-wing opposition.
