Фронт наближається: як живуть села Дніпропетровщини / hromadske

After Russian forces approached Pokrovsk, they attempt to bypass the city, seize villages on the flanks, and sever supply routes to Ukrainian troops. In several Dnipropetrovsk communities, the front is only 5–10 km away, and they are shelled with rockets, artillery, and KABs. One displaced resident, Lidia, recounts leaving her home in the Novogrodivka community in Donetsk, moving to a village in Dnipropetrovsk after the Russians advanced in autumn 2024. She explains that she and her husband receive no assistance, lack documents, and struggle to find work. During the trip to Dnipropetrovsk, the crew met many other displaced people from Donetsk who are again forced to consider where to flee if the situation worsens. The report shows how villages in Dnipropetrovsk are living under the threat of the advancing front.
