The Roaring 1920s

The 1920s was a decade of great change, new freedoms, economic and technological boom, cultural and artistic dynamism. An era of hot jazz, short skirts and clandestine booze, a glittering decade suspended precariously between two world wars. In America it was called the jazz age, the Brits the golden age, and the French the Années folles, the crazy years. As we begin a new decade, the 2020s, we look back at the 20’s that came in the last century, that glamorous time known as the roaring 20’s.
