US President Donald Trump says he warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against striking Iran, saying it would not be 'appropriate' amid talks on a nuclear deal with Tehran. Trump told reporters that he had told Netanyahu in a call last week not to take military action, saying he didn't think it was appropriate right now, and added that they were having very good talks with Iran.
