Astronomers from the University of Southern Queensland have co-published a study into the discovery of an Earth-sized planet candidate. Planet HD 137010 b is 150 light-years away from Earth and orbits a Sun-like star. Study co-author Dr Chelsea Huang says there's a 50 per cent chance the planet candidate is in the star's habitable zone.
