US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee pays a visit to Taybeh, a Christian village in the central occupied West Bank whose priests and residents have denounced attacks by Israeli settlers, including a fire set alight in the area of the ruins of an ancient temple. Huckabee last week demanded an aggressive investigation and consequences after settlers beat to death a Palestinian-American, in rare public pressure against the ally by President Donald Trump's administration.
