9:36 Multiplayer Gameplay begins The December 2025 update for Patreon testers introduced multiplayer, along with major improvements and additions to the player controller and hundreds of bug fixes and optimizations across the entire game. This update focused on stability, performance, and fixing long‑standing issues, while laying the groundwork for consistent, more frequent updates as we continue toward Steam Early Access. In January 2025 I began a five‑month FDNY fire academy, a demanding commitment that left little time for the game. I was determined to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming an NYC firefighter, and during that period the project was not abandoned, only paused. After graduating and settling into my new career, I returned to active development in June, and this build reflects that renewed focus. The update brings core system improvements, new weapons, equipment, and tools, an overhauled atmosphere with updated lighting, fog, clouds, weather, effects, and sound, new map areas, expanded character abilities such as swimming, parachuting, hang gliding, and climbing, improved building and world interaction, richer environmental detail, significant AI enhancements for Tripods and aliens, and deep optimization work across physics, terrain, shadows, LODs, scene loading, and core systems.
