The UK 1st Edition Who Wants to Be a Millionaire for Nintendo Wii, released in 2007, was the first Wii title and the first UK exclusive since the Junior Edition GBA game. It uses the 15‑question format and features continuous music that only stops on a wrong answer or the final prompt, though the track cuts out at the £500,000 question. Developed by Route1Games and Slam! Studios, it was the only other title they worked on besides the 2nd edition. A planned 2010 World Tour version never materialised. The game is notable for being the first Millionaire title billed as a “1st Edition,” and many of its questions were sourced from the Sky Gamestar apps.
