It follows the classic 15‑question format and features continuous music that only stops on a wrong answer or the final prompt, though the soundtrack abruptly cuts out at the £500,000 question. Developed by Slam! Studios and Route1Games, it is the only other title besides the 2nd edition that involved those studios, and a planned World Tour version for 2010 never materialised. The game is notable for being the first Millionaire title billed as a “1st Edition,” despite being the fifth major‑console release after several Eidos and Party Edition titles.
