The UK 1st Edition Who Wants to Be a Millionaire for Nintendo Wii was released in 2007, making it the first Wii title and the first UK‑exclusive after the Junior Edition GBA game. Unlike the second edition, it uses the 15‑question format and features continuous music that only stops on a wrong answer or final prompt, though it cuts out at the £500,000 question. Developed by Slam! Studios and Route1Games, it was the only other title they worked on besides the second edition, and a planned 2010 World Tour version never materialized. The game is notable for being the first Millionaire title billed as a "1st Edition", and many of its questions were sourced from the Sky Gamestar apps.
