Where Does the New Pyramid Void Lead?

New scientific scans have found voids within the Pyramid of Menkaure. It is the smallest of the three famous pyramids at Giza, uniquely cased in granite in the lower quarter of height. The granite casing stones remain an enigmatic feature of the pyramid, still rounded and rough, lacking a final smooth appearance. Two small sections of the granite casing stones were dressed smooth, a square patch around the northern entrance and a similar patch on the eastern face inside the mortuary temple. It remains a mystery why these patches were the only granite stones on the pyramid with a finished appearance. Three non‑destructive tests have confirmed the east face of the pyramid has voids behind it, mirroring the entrance on the north side.
