Dramatic arrests as four charged in teen girl assault case

Four teenagers, the youngest aged 14, were charged with a six‑hour sexual assault on a 17‑year‑old girl in her car in Sydney’s west. Police say the attack, which lasted more than six hours, was filmed in part on a video call. Dramatic footage captured the dawn arrest of the eldest suspect, 19‑year‑old Adam Abdul‑Hamid, in Heckenberg; he was taken to Liverpool Police Station and charged with five counts of aggravated sex assault in company with other persons, while his family swarmed the police and shouted as he was ushered out of the house.
