In the Beach District of New O'Maly City, the Stucky O'Beach Strip is populated with a variety of characters such as Shark‑E, a shark who loves his car, Aiden, a young rabbit boy, and others. The area includes a shop where Mike Like, Bryant Gillson, and Ai Sardine—members of a crustatian band—sell items, and Stylin' Stan, a shark shopkeeper, offers magic crystals and travel brochures. The pool area features Chad Crabsman, who interacts with many characters, Rachel, a crustatian who acknowledges the player, and Red, the lifeguard who can only be spoken to from the diving board. The apartment complex houses Crispy Ted, Akako Yua, James, and the duo Brianna and Trish. Brianna transforms into Umbra, the Lord of Shadows, after donning an ancient ninja outfit, becoming the eighth party member. Umbra can charge, throw kunai, air dash in eight directions, and cling to walls, with upgrades available for her abilities. Players can also interact with Xander in Canopy Town to obtain heart fragments and visit other locations such as the beach strip hotel room next to Brianna's.
