Feeding time for the melodious Grey-winged Blackbird at wildfilmsindia bird sanctuary at Motidhar

The Grey‑winged Blackbird, one of India’s finest songsters, is seen feeding on forest berries and insects in the Uttarakhand Himalaya. It forages under dry oak leaves and among Rhododendron flower heads, while occasionally singing its melodious calls. In the sanctuary at Motidhar, the bird sits quietly on a deodar twig, trills, and sometimes remains silent, taking advantage of the surrounding Hill Barbet and Blue‑throated Barbet calls.
