Hollow Knight: Silksong Fans Have Hope After Nintendo Indie World Announcement - IGN Daily Fix

Hollow Knight fans have been left disappointed time and again over the past few years. Only fairly recently did we get a teaser trailer, and even though developer Team Cherry is sticking to a 2025 release, we still don't have an actual date. But fans may have reason to hope, as Nintendo has announced an Indie World Showcase for Thursday, August 7th at 6am PT. This will be yet another opportunity for Team Cherry to finally announce a release date, which would pair well with the game being playable at Xbox's gamescom booth later this month. Speaking of Xbox, August's Game Pass Wave 1 lineup has been revealed, with Assassin's Creed Mirage leading the way, along with Rain World and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. Finally, Battlefield 6's producer recognizes that 2042 was missing the 'excellence' of predecessor Bad Company 2, and hopefully that means good things for Battlefield 6.
