I worked on the first advert at the Mill in London, a project that turned out to be a real ride. My role was primarily TD, but I handled almost everything, especially the transition from radio to school bag and then to toy box. I used cloth simulations with Maya’s old cloth tools—long before Ncloth—which made getting the shots to work and look good quite challenging. I also worked on the cord, radio bar graphs, antenna, bag simulations, zipper tags, bag exit animation, bag ripping, ZBrush detailing, haze, blaster, soccer pants simulation, skirt animation, and truck undercarriage rigging.
