Since the beginning of March, Israel has blocked all shipments of humanitarian aid, including food and medical supplies, into Gaza. The BBC's international editor Jeremy Bowen spoke to Philippe Lazzarini, the commissioner-general of Unrwa – the UN agency that supports Palestinian refugees. Lazzarini said he was running out of words to describe the misery and tragedy affecting the people in Gaza, who have now been more than two months without any aid. He added that this is the weaponisation of humanitarian aid.
