A drifter's life is saved from being hanged by an outspoken child and a gunfighter-pimp. The child's uncle passes away, leaving him a home and some dry, worthless land. The drifter's pledge to help the child acquire what is rightfully his has been gained by the dying uncle. Meanwhile, the gunfighter has determined that the wanderer, who has previously been with her, should marry his daughter.
