China is developing a humanoid “pregnancy robot” with an artificial womb that could carry a fetus for 10 months, potentially offering a lower-cost alternative to human surrogates. While the prototype may debut next year, questions remain about fertilization, birth, and ethical and legal implications. Separately, humanoid robots have been showcased performing everyday tasks in New York to promote a new ETF, drawing both amazement and unease, the New York Post has reported.
