The Waves of India album celebrates India’s rich cultural tapestry and diversity and will be launched by Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi at the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) summit which seeks to celebrate and empower the country’s Media and Entertainment industry. The album brings together India’s jewels – AR Rahman, Shankar Mahadevan, Prasoon Joshi, MM Keeravani, Ricky Kej and Meet Bros – who have on multiple occasions through their art brought numerous global laurels for the country. Each of the aforementioned legends have individual songs which seek to celebrate India’s cultural heritage in different shapes and form. Each song is binded together through the phrase “Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram” – which signifies the core values of Truth, Auspiciousness, and Beauty. Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram is the foundation of a myriad principles of the Indian culture. The album will instil a deep sense of pride in every Indian.
