Anto RetroGamer presents the opening title screen and intro theme to Sonic The Hedgehog 1 for the SEGA Master System (1991). This 8‑bit version of Sonic 1 is a different game entirely from the original 16‑bit counterpart on the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis. The game was shortly ported to the SEGA Game Gear, the version most Sonic fans have played. As both systems are 8‑bit and very similar in software, many games were ported between them. The original Master System version is perhaps harder, due to its TV‑sized screen, and the bosses are slightly different for certain levels.
