The Amazing Transparent Man (1960) - feat. Marguerite Chapman

The film follows notorious safecracker Joey Faust as he breaks out of prison, evading guards and a relentless dog squad, and escapes into a swamp before slipping into a waiting convertible. He and his silent companion, Laura Matson, head to a ranch guarded by a menacing hunter, where Faust encounters the deranged former Army major Paul Krenner, who has orchestrated the escape to aid his plan to create invisible soldiers. Krenner forces the imprisoned scientist Dr. Peter Ulof to develop a radiation‑based invisibility machine, threatening Ulof’s daughter to keep him compliant. Faust is recruited to break into a government vault to steal the rare nuclear materials needed for the machine, but the plan goes awry when the invisibility process proves unstable, causing Faust to flicker between visible and invisible. As the side effects of radiation poisoning become lethal, Faust turns against Krenner, leading to a violent confrontation in the lab that ends in a catastrophic nuclear explosion, killing both men and thwarting Krenner’s world‑conquest scheme.
