Warner Oland in "Charlie Chan in Egypt" (1935) - feat. Rita Hayworth & Stepin Fetchit

Charlie Chan travels to Egypt to investigate the disappearance of Professor Arnold and the mysterious artifacts from Ameti's tomb. He discovers that Arnold has been missing, that the artifacts were sold to pay debts, and that a curse may be involved. With the help of Tom Evans and Stepin Fetchit, Chan explores the tomb, encounters visions of the goddess Sekhmet, and uncovers a plot involving a hallucinogenic drug. He ultimately reveals that Professor Thurston orchestrated the murders and attempted to kill Tom, but Chan thwarts him and brings justice.
