Winger breakouts

In the defensive zone, wingers should position themselves to support the puck carrier on the breakout, usually around the wall. If the puck is on the opposite side of the ice, they can move to the middle for support. When the puck begins to move toward their side, they should move toward the wall to become a passing option. They should be an easy passing option, keep their eyes up to anticipate their next move before receiving the puck, and stick up the ice to make a play in front of them.
