200-4R, 700-R4 & 4L60E: Pump Repair - Sonnax

I walk you through the test and repair process for 200-4Rs, 700-R4s and 4L60Es that have excessively worn pump pressure regulator valve bores. When vacuum test results are in the single digits (i.e. less than 10Hg) for a given valve/bore, aftermarket valves will often not be sufficient to restore the circuit to serviceability. Therefore we need to ream the bore and install an oversized valve in place of the original, if one is available. This video shows you how to do this with the pressure regulator valve for the above mentioned transmissions.
